Raindrop Therapy

The therapeutic grade essential oils used in the Raindrop Technique Session are:

1 – Valor (a blend of Rosewood, Blue Tansy, Frankincense, and Spruce) – used to balance. Valor is the most important oil used in this application because it works on both physical and emotional levels, supporting the physical and energy alignment of the body. The key to using this oil is patience. Once the frequencies begin to balance, a structural alignment can begin to occur. Valor is applied to the soles of the feet, on the shoulders and along the spine.

2 – Oregano has very aggressive antimicrobial action. It also has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. It may help stimulate the immune system, balance metabolism and strengthen the vital centers of the body

3 – Thyme is documented to be highly antimicrobial and is able to easily penetrate the skin and travel throughout the body. It may be beneficial in helping to overcome fatigue and exhaustion, and it supplies energy during times of stress and physical weakness.

4 – Basil has anti-spasmodic properties that relax muscles. It is also anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial.

5 – Wintergreen is anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain relieving) due to its high methyl salicylate content.  It is beneficial for massage associated with bone, muscle, and joint discomfort. It also elevates and increases awareness in the sensory system.

6 – Marjoram is anti-spasmodic and helps relax muscles.  It also works with voluntary and involuntary muscles and nerves throughout the body.

7 – Cypress improves circulation and relieves spasms and swelling. Cypress also helps heal damaged tissue.

8 – Peppermint
has pain killing properties. It is also anti-microbial, working synergistically with other oils to enhance their activity. It also stimulates circulation and cools inflamed tissue, as well as aids in alertness and mental acuity.

9- Aroma Siez (a blend of Basil, Cypress

(Marjoram, Lavender, and Peppermint) is a highly anti-spasmodic blend of essential oils that helps relax sore, tense, or inflamed muscles.

“In short, the benefits of Raindrop technique go well beyond the physical benefits of massage. Indeed, they can help improve every aspect of life, physically, mentally and emotionally, often relieving a variety of issues in a single treatment. Raindrop technique can not only help relieve pain and restore immediate physical well-being, but it can set in motion healing processes that will last for weeks or even months.”

What is Raindrop technique? Raindrop Technique promotes physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing through application of/anointing with therapeutic grade essential oils and is performed in silence on a BioMat which co
mbines FAR INFRARED warmth and negative ions from gem grade Amethyst Crystal. This technique is intended to support release of emotional, physical and spiritual blocks in order to increase inner peace, relaxation, physical/emotional integrity and increase overall quality of life.

Raindrop was originally developed by Dr. Gary Young, ND. It combines small amounts of eight therapeutic grade essential oils applied to the spine points of the feet and back, followed with massage techniques, VitaFlex massage and heat application. The technique is designed to bring the body back into structural and electrical alignment.

How does it work? Originally developed for use with scoliosis, Dr. Young hypothesized that dormant viruses in the lymph nodes along the spine caused misalignment and scoliosis. With this hypothesis in mind, he developed RT using essential oils that focus on cellular detoxification, structural balance and alignment, and lymphatic drainage and circulation. Thus the essential oils used in RT have a potential impact on immune function, all major organs and systems, spinal alignment, ligaments, voluntary muscles.

Who can benefit from Raindrop technique? Individuals have found this technique helpful in addressing: scoliosis, back tension and general muscle relaxation, stress release, emotional clearing, immune support, body detoxification, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, Lyme disease, Multiple Sclerosis to name a few. The power of this technique is in the choice of essential oils to address circulation, detoxification, muscle, bone, ligament, nerve, digestive and emotional wellbeing AND the techniques which support the integration of these oils into the body. Individual chemistry and therefore individual results can vary.

What can I expect during a Raindrop Technique session? NOTE: Drink lots of pure water before and after your Raindrop Technique session. Water is a medium for clearing toxins from the body gently. Remember that one of the major effects of RT is to detoxify, so drinking lots of water is critical for those toxins to route, comfortably, out of the body.

Raindrop Technique generally takes 1 hour. . During a RT session, I need to access the back and feet. Raindrop is generally performed in silence. As the practitioner, my job is to anoint with essential oils. Your job is to allow your inner experience to unfold as it may during a RT session.

People find RT deeply relaxing, energizing, an introspective and meditative experience. It is best to plan an RT session when you have some additional time following to integrate and enter the remainder of your day in a peaceful way.
