As I thought about the year I realized the number of younger patients I was working with had increased by 25%. I was well aware of the research presented by Stephanie Seneff Senior Research scientist at MIT suggesting that by 2025 half of all children will be autistic.
At first I was reluctant to accept younger patients because of the issues of compliancy, comprehension and anxiety levels. It was my own 13 year old grandson that helped me most. Once we identified his gluten sensitivity and he began to make the sometimes difficult changes and accepted his new way of eating– the changes for him were so dramatic–he became excited and even more committed.
I realized it is sometimes more the parents who are most reluctant to make the changes because of the demand it can have on how other family members enjoy and prepare their food. My grandson taught me young people have an innate trust in their internal compass they use to navigate their personal choices and are often un-waivering once they know "this is the right" step for them.
The other noticeable shift in our practice was the level and intensity of the emotional work we were called to do. It was clear patients of all ages and different levels of awareness were awakening to the idea that healing emotional wounds, trauma, self image and relationship issues were essential for optimal levels of health and wellness. Using tools like Applied Psycho Neurobiology and "Tap n Tell" we guided many to identify and resolve hidden wounds of anger, rejection, loss, low self image and lack of self love.
Due to the strong response and release of "Heal Hashimoto’s: Start with the Gut" we attracted many with undiagnosed, untreated and mistreated thyroid conditions. We served them through a very successful "14 Day Heal Your Gut Challenge"and patient’s moods, minds and guts improved.
Patients struggling with infertility issues suddenly found themselves pregnant after we identified, treated and cleared H-Pylori and other chronic infections.
Why am I sharing this?
For the past 30 years I have had the privilege of a front row seat to the health challenges and solutions found when we embrace health from a perspective beyond the conventional approach and incorporate the best of ancient medicine and cutting edge technology like PEMF and the healing potential found in sound, color and light.
Having the 5 levels of health & healing model as our guide as been invaluable. Each patient is assessed not only by their personal biochemistry, but also by their mental, energetic and higher levels of consciousness. We help individuals identify their unexpressed healing essence waiting to be tapped and expressed. This is available to each and every one of us.
After reflecting on where we were in our practice (which is often a reflection of me) I felt challenged by how we would respond to the ever changing demands of the health challenges we were seeing. Neurological disease is now on the move to replace both cancer and heart disease as the top cause of death. Here Dr. Klinghardt explains the increase in neurological disease having it’s roots in chronic underlying infections and the immune system’s response to the infections. The same is true for Autoimmune diseases.
Moving forward I asked myself. Will you "retreat" or "reachout…" Will you "isolate or build community?"….will you live from a place of "me…or we?" We each have to decide for ourself "who are we willing to be in the face of inevitable change?"
You choose whether the events taking place on a personal and global scale will inspire you to step up or step out. Once I reflected on my "why" I saw the only choice for me was to Step up. I believe we each have a very meaningful and important role to play in the unfolding of humanity. We need you. We need your light. We need your voice. We need your gifts.
Are you in…or are your out?
Health Hacks 2017
Guided by the 5 Levels of Health & Healing model contemporized by Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D. pH.D and adapted by raSa health, each patient is assessed not only by their personal biochemistry, but their mental, energetic and higher levels of consciousness. We help individuals identify, activate and engage their own healing essence.
Physical Level
This level happens over time and is governed by the natural laws that govern five senses. This is the level most conventional practitioners focus on and treat.
Hack your Biochemistry
Having been trained in Functional biochemistry we offer every patient an in-depth analysis of their lab work that provides one piece of the sometimes complex puzzle. It helps to identify areas of imbalance, weakness and dis-ease. We include biomarkers not conventionally included in most doctor’s offices that allow us to identify trends before they develop into more serious conditions.
Our motto is early "prevention"…not early "detection." For a close- up look of this testing and report click here The "standard" of care by which most practitioners are guided is decided by insurance companies and other regulating agencies. The "range" that is considered acceptable by most laboratories is based on a population of pathological patients and not on patients with optimal health. The top hack at this level is working with a practitioner that will order the correct labs and translate them into useful and guided protocals to help you achieve your goals.
Hack your Microbiome
There are several microbiomes in our bodies including the gut, lungs, sinus, throat and mouth. Did you know our gut draws from over 90 different bacterial strains to synthesize life enhancing vitamins and other nutrients as well as generate neurotransmitters and neuromodulators. This new understanding demands we shift our focus from "killing & conquering" bugs to living more symbiotically and supporting this community of microbes an rich internal ecosystem.
I find it fascinating how our internal world is really a microcosm of the outer challenges we face as a nation enmeshed in a debate of building walls or building bridges. Build community or isolate. Kill or be killed. I write about this in my book Heal Hashimoto’s: Start with the Gut in the chapter "Gut Bless You."
Energy Level
Yes! Virginia there is an "energy" body.
This is how brain waves and EKG’s and EEG’s are recorded. Did you know the heart emits a powerful rhythmic electromagnetic field which can be detected several feet away. This field acts like a magnet attracting experiences, events and healing potential
The top concern of most patients we serve is pain followed closely by fatigue. Think of your energy body like a savings account. Are you making deposits or more withdrawals?
Withdrawals can include:
Stress
Poor diet
Food sensitivities
Digital overload
Lack of restful sleep
Lack of exercise
Medications
Unresolved psycho-emotional
Lack of community
Deposits/Energy Hacks
Identifying food intolerances and food sensitivities. This can bring about the most noticeable changes for many patient symptoms. Often we are eating "good" foods but they are not necessarily the "right" foods. There are many lab tests available including blood and saliva but the most accurate testing has been with Autonomic Response Testing as developed by Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., pH.D. We have the patient bring in the most common foods and beverages and test them directly. Once we remove the top offenders inflammation reduces, anxiety resolves and weight, gut and mood issues improve.
Turning off the wi-fi at night and removing all cordless phones.
Identifying and correcting sleep stealers. Room needs to be dark with no blue light.
Detox a little everyday….ionic foot bath, sauna, chlorella, coffee enemas, drainage remedies, clay baths, intermittent fasting, healing broths, remove your amalgams and laugh- out- loud til you cry
Identify the side effects of every medication you are on and ask about more natural solutions with minimal side affects.
Find your exercise style. It’s different for each of us. Our bodies are designed to move. Current lifestyles including now the most popular gadget sold on Amazon the "echo" has replaced our need to get up and move to change the channel, shop for a gift, answer the phone or turn off the lights. We MUST include body movement as part of our daily routine. Find your style and embrace it.
Spend time in nature. Still scores incredibly high in the deposit side of the checkbook. 15 minutes of early morning, late afternoon sun exposure can help to reset and restore the body’s internal biological set points that depend on color, wavelength and light.
Reintroduce the Clothesline
As a child, every Saturday, Mom would hang the sheets and after a bath and a movie I would climb into the fresh, crisp smelling linens. I have a neighbor who uses the clothesline as an opportunity to pray for each family member as she places their clothes on the line and offers gratitude for the Sun’s abundant gifts. Nowadays many are relying on synthetic and often carcinogenic chemicals with seductive names like "Ocean Breeze" and Baby’s Breath". Choose the real deal. UV light provided by the sun is a natural disinfectant and whitener. The UV from the sun interferes with the reproduction cycle of bacteria by damaging their DNA. Sometimes it feels like clothes capture the energy from the sun and release it’s healing to you all night long. Caution: Your neighbors will ask if your dryer is broke
Community – Find and serve your community. This may be family, friends or like-minded souls you share a common passion with. Take the cue from nature. Nature colonizes. Nature communes. Nature lives and expresses for the greater good of all…
Mental Level. We experience this level through our beliefs, attitudes and thoughts
Mental Hack
3 most frequently found self-limiting beliefs when dealing with the patient’s unconscious mind.
I am safe.
I am loved.
I am worthy.
Scientific American January 2014 had an excellent article on how our unconscious mind exerts a profound influence shaping decisions, molding behaviors and running our lives.
Using Autonomic Response Testing we are able to identify and correct these programming patterns. Patients experience profound shifts. Recently I was working with a young Mom who had set the intention to deliver her 3rd child by V-birth. The challenge was her first two pregnancies resulted in c-sections. Using ART we discovered her intention was being sabotaged by an early "hidden" trauma where a family trip was quickly aborted to Italy because of her developing Measles. As a result the client had a noticeable pattern of "unusual stress and disappointment" when plans where quickly changed or aborted. As a result she often overed crossed her "t’s" and dotted her "I’s to ensure plans were carried out as agreed upon. This resulted in high stress and continuous disappointment. Once we uncoupled her emotions and reset her nervous system and body memory she was truly free to align her intention and her attention in a way that supported her personal goal and highest good.
4th/5th Level
Awareness/Consciousness
Awareness/Consciousness Hacks
Step one is to begin to become aware of yourself. Study the above graphic created by Deepak Chopra. Ask yourself which level of awareness are you hanging out in?
The word responsibility contains within it the very meaning of responsibility. The "ability" to "respond." Not the ability to react. There is a difference. When we come from a place of responding it usually emerges from a place of mindfulness and inner guidance. When we are "reacting" we are simply marrionettes with knee jerk reactions triggering early childhood wounds, beliefs and unhealed trauma.
Hacks at this levels:
Heartmath is a science and solution based technology ideal for individuals, families and corporations.
They offer courses, tools and products that can be incorporated into every lifestyle for every age to build greater coherence. Coherence is also something we evaluate in every patient using Autonomic Response Testing. Coherence refers to order, connection, wholeness. Blending physics and neuro-science, Autonomic Response Testing is an excellent tool for assessing and correcting coherence in the BioField. In ancient systems of healing such as Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayruveda the model reflects the understanding that the biofield is an interface between the environment and physical body. The model reflects that dis-ease begins at this level and then manifests in the physical body. Having this understanding allows a skilled practitioner to intercept dis-ease before it is recognized at the physical level and recorded as tissue changes such as tumor, cancer, cyst etc.
Closing Thoughts —-It is much easier to deal with change, conflict, chaos, opportunity and uncertainly when we feel strong and healthy. Each moment we choose. Health is not something to take for granted. It requires time, attention and intention. It is much more challenging to recover from a dis-ease than to prevent the dis-ease in the first place. Things happen. We do get sick. The body can respond. Build your armamentarium. Be proactive. Prepare.
Events will continue in 2017 that can be both shocking and destabilizing as well as ground breaking and revolutionary. Being flexible and adaptable will carry us a long way. In order to do this we must be anchored in a reality based in health, vitality and personal truth. This will require deep personal work to identify beliefs, thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve us and the willingness to move beyond them.

Lab Testing has its place in any practice…but is it enough?
It’s often frustrating when a patient hands me their lab work or recent CBC (Complete Blood Chemistry) and tell me their primary care Doc said, "it’s all good ….nothing to worry about" and then we analyze it according to a Functional model and we find a number of imbalances that suggest something entirely different.
It’s important to understand that any lab testing only provides a piece of the puzzle and the information provided is only as useful as the level of skill of as the practitioner analyzing the results. There is also the pitfall of false positives and samples that have been contaminated or even worse is sending the same sample to three different labs and getting three different results. I’m often dismayed by what insurance companies are willing to pay and accept as the "standard of care." Some of the most useful biomarkers such as Vitamin D, and Thyroid antibodies and Leptin are not recognized as "standard of care and Doc’s don’t bother to run the panel because the insurance company will deny payment and the patient will be left paying out-of-pocket.
At raSahealth we have found it valuable to test in multiple ways. We embrace the 5 levels of health and healing model and we know that bio-chemistry is only one small piece of the human design.
Have you gone to the Doctor with a concern of a small mass or symptom and the Doc say’s I don’t see anything to be concerned about come back in 3 months and we’ll check it again. Why is that? It may just be because the Docs know that many of the tests they rely on are not very "sensitive" and if they wait long enough eventually the test will come back positive. Frankly, the longer you wait to "find" the problem ….the bigger the problem has become. Cancer has been developing many years before there are symptoms or before the traditional tests we rely on are sensitive enough to detect the anamoly. We know the longer you have it…the harder it is to correct. By the time a mass has developed on a breast and detected through a mammogram it may be several years after the cells began to change. Therefore, using "sensitive" tests and cross checking through different systems often reveal imbalances before they become life-threatening.
One test we can use is a Functional interpretation of your blood chemistry which compares the patient to a population of "healthy" people instead of a population of sick patients which results in a far wider bell curve and ultimately leads to the Doc saying "you’re blood work was fine! We’ll see you next year." Let’s look at this option a little more closely.
BioChemistry
Most Docs are using the conventional laboratory reference ranges for blood chemistry and CBC interpretation. For many practitioners blood chemistry and CBC analysis is a matter of comparing a test result with the conventional laboratory reference range, seeing whether or not the patient’s results are normal or abnormal and attempting to fit them into a particular disease pattern or pathology. These conventional laboratory ranges are designed to identify and diagnose disease states and pathology. People who fall within the reference range are assumed to have no clinical signs and symptoms of any disease, and are considered "normal." Have you heard of someone who had just been cleared in their yearly physical only to drop dead of a heart attack only weeks later.
Practitioners of Functional and holistic medicine understand that symptoms of deep fatigue, migrating muscle aches and joint pain, numbness, tingling, and brain fog is not normal. Yet our patients with these symptoms do not have a clinically identifiable disease. As a result they are told by their doctor that they have an "unremarkable" or "normal" laboratory test, i.e. they are "clinically" normal or "it’s all in your head." They may be normal when compared to a database of the sick or diseased , but often they fall into an entirely different light when compared to a population of those with optimal health. As a practitioner trained in Functional interpretation of Blood Chemistries we know to also look for trends and patterns that may indicate the need for further investigation.
This patient’s lab was considered "normal" by his medical doctor yet when we ran his panel according to functional analysis we saw a pattern of elevated AST, decreased Co2 and increased alkaline phosphotase which placed her at an 78% risk for congestive heart dysfunction.
We can no longer rely on the "standard of care" as dictated by insurance companies. Insurance companies are in business to earn a profit. Their focus is sick care not "health" care.
I’ve posted before about my personal loss and journey with a beloved brother who spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals.. Near the end time when I visited I could see he was very ill. Yet I asked his specialist how he was doing and they answered "we expect a great recovery!" I began to weep silently. My brother asked, “what’s wrong,”….I said, “I hate to see you like this.” He said, “Why? Do you think I’m sick?…. The Doctors tell me I will recover.”
My prognosis was very different. I looked at the tongue, the nails, the pulse, the eyes, his bio-field and I saw decay and loss of life. This was a perfect example of relying on labs only or having a Doc who has no skill interpreting the numbers or the signs. I did not need the "labs" to tell me how he was. His body told me everything I needed to know.
.
This picture represents the 3 levels we are evaluating. (Left) The physical body (through chemistry) (Middle) The Biofield through Bio resonance and (Right) Autonomic Response Testing.
Have you had the experience where one day your computer "isn’t working the way it used to?" It’s slower…the files may appear rearranged and everything takes longer. So you call Tech Support and they guide you through the steps…check the cables, the monitor, the processor, the connections, the keyboard and you say everything is fine….You even bang every key and nothing changes and the voice on the other ends says "everything seems to be fine." But YOU KNOW EVERTHING IS NOT FINE. The breakdown isn’t in any one individual part– it is IN THE WHOLE. It could be the operating software. This is why conventional medicine is limited. It only looks at the individual parts In fact—we have specialists for every part but no doctor to assess the whole.
Bioresonance testing offers a view of the whole.
BioResonance Testing
Information leads to Transformation!
Physical matter is only one interpretation of the human body. It has been what Western medicine has focused on for the past 100 years. Other cultures and systems of healing recognize that the body is composed of and emits light. In fact, these ancient systems embrace a model that understands it is the bio-field that influences the bio-chemistry and many of their treatments revolve around physics and the use of frequency, resonance, sound, light and more. Therefore, if we are only assessing a patient according to their biochemistry we are missing the forest through the trees.
The bioresonance system we use in our office is based on a "frequency matching" model. Once the patient is scanned their blueprint is matched against the "optimal" and the results are reported in various graphs, graphics and colors. Perhaps, you are aware of the connection to emotional trauma and heart disease. There are numerous studies to show the affects of emotional trauma and heart disease. This information is stored in the bio-field and able to be matched to specific locations in the body.
Remember the patient with the 78% risk for Congestive Heart Dysfunction? After we performed their Bio-resonance scan we were able to precisely identify the underlying emotional patterns locked in their field indicating an earlier trauma surrounding the concept of "loss." When questioning the patient they revealed the significant loss they had experienced only 3 years ago with the untimely passing of two loved ones. We began a multifacted approach and immediately began to address the underlying factors significantly decreasing their risk.
What you see here is a matching of the concept of "loss" revealing itself in the "coronary veins" as depicted by the RED in each of the following scans.
Note: The primary focus in this scan is anything in red. Notice the "red" indicating coronary veins in the first figure.
Note: Highest focus is shown in "red." The concept of "loss"
Can someone die from a brokenheart? Internationalgriefcouncil.org was founded by three women from three different cultures and three different countries as each of them tell their personal story of how grief and profound loss tore their worlds apart and left them changed forever. Their lifework is now dedicated to counciling, guiding and helping others with a profound and unshakable sense of loss rediscover themselves and their wholeness.
In our patient care we use Applied Psycho Neurobiology to address this level of healing
Bio Field Testing
See your health in a whole new light!
Great minds have often said if you want to understand life you only have to observe nature. Most of us have at one time or another planted a seed and watched it grow. Think of the components you need…seed, soil, water, oxygen and light. This summer I often sat in the morning and reflected on how the trees in our yard would twist and bend themselves as to only draw closer to the light. Seasonal Effective Disorder (S.A.D.) is a condition that effects millions as the seasons turn into winter and our light dependent bodies yearn to feel the nourishing rays.
Our dense physical body is composed of things that the naked eye cannot see–atoms, molecules, chromosomes and cells. However, words like "atoms," "chromosomes," and "cells" can hardly describe divinity’s creative activities or the true nature of life. Our cells contain the DNA/RNA memory codes and intelligence factors to access and fulfill their evolutionary advancement.
In the 1970′s, Fritz-Albert Popp, theoretical biophysicist at the university of Marburg in Germany was looking for the difference between two similar hydrocarbons. Although their chemical structures are virtually the same, one of them is carcinogenic. He discovered the only difference between them is how they interact with UV light. He performed his test on 37 other chemicals, some cancer-causing, some not. After a while, it got so that he could predict which substances could cause cancer. In every instance, the compounds that were carcinogenic took the UV light, absorbed it and changed the frequency. When he presented his findings at a conference for oncologists, they told him it was crazy. They said his results must mean light is being emitted by cells. Popp said, "YES!"
Popp and one of his students developed a photo-multiplier that could measure light emitted by cells, photon by photon. His research showed that our own cells produce biophotons that communicate with one another. These photons are coherent, as in laser light. Coherent light occurs when the wavelengths are the same and the waves are in phase with one another.
The work in Biophotons has challenged our accepted understanding of cellular processes. Light does two things in the body. First, it changes the condition of the atoms for the order of the system. Second, it transfers information between the cells. We have over 100,000 reactions per second in each cell. These reactions must be activated by a process that works much faster than enzymes can. Only light can do that–provide the information to coordinate 100,000 reactions in each cell per second! The body also uses light to make order, a special kind of order. It is the knowledge and understanding of these principals that encouraged Dr. Klinghardt to develop Autonomic Response Testing. You may find it interesting to know that this model is accepted widely throughout Europe. In fact, Dr. Klinghardt has often said his patients in Germany would much prefer a Laser Energetic Detox and Autonomic Response Testing instead of any lab or pills he may have in his black bag. Yet, his patients in the U.S. are so conditioned to receive a prescription when they go to their Doc they feel like the visit wasn’t valuable if they leave without one.
There are many tools and techniques to assess the Bio-field. Autonomic Response Testing is the tool I am certified in and it has been a lamplight on a sometimes dark and lonely path and a wayshower when other Docs said there was no way.

If you have read this far then you are one of the few that has begun to think outside the box of our current understanding of health and healing. Like you–I am on a journey to greater awareness and understanding. By no means is the information here meant to imply we have all the answers. Like the popular folk song, "The Bear Went Over the Mountain and …what do you think he saw? He saw another mountain…" We are experiencing a paradigm shift in what health is and how to heal. Everyday there are dynamic leaps in physics and the new biology pointing the way to what may be another mountain waiting to be discovered. If you are one who has felt the inner nudge that we are more than our biochemistry and know that by not addressing the other principals of human design we are in fact missing the forest through the trees– jump on board and explore what’s possible on the frontier of greater health options. I’ll meet you on the mountain.

This conversation takes place in our office every week and daily in homes around the Country. Life as we know it stops dead in its tracks when you or someone you love sits face-to-face with the news of a life-threatening diagnosis.
More personally this was a conversation I lived with when a beloved family member faced a life changing diagnosis. The loss is still ripe with sudden moments of deep ache and sadness punctuated by a need to make it all mean something …be something …contribute something more that may make a difference to one other person or a family who is navigating this uncharted territory.
Meryl Streep said, "it’s amazing how one person dies and the whole world seems empty."
Some Experiences Leave Us Forever Changed
My brother was a big force. He didn’t come into the world soft like a spring rain and he didn’t exit any more gently. His journey on earth was volcanic, colorful, adventurous and bold. Why should his transition be anything other? Living life with such boldness often comes with a price that may include feelings of: injury, loss, achievement, acquisition, understanding, betrayal, anger, resentment and sudden spiritual insight.
Our Mom died when she was only 51 years and me and my siblings were in our early years of adulthood. Innately I assumed a mother/sister role with my younger brother and our rich love was entangled by deep conflict, –fraught with competition, loyalty, fierce stubborness and passion for life.
Vincent’s journey of reckless abandonment left him in the hospital with broken bones, ribs, internal bleeding, Hep C, Cirrhosis, Diabetes and more. He was stitched up, sewn up and sent back out to pasture so many times we all knew him as the man with more lives than most of us dreamed possible. Most of these incidents would have left many with a much earlier demise but his faith in what he knew to be God and his ability to find a way when he was told there is none was undeniably other worldly.
I loved this about him and I hated this about him. I wanted him to live. I wanted him to be on this journey with me for as long my life would last.
A year ago we realized we were soon to loose him and we gathered at Christmas to have a living memorial and tell him while he could see us, hear us and hug us how much his life impacted ours and how much he was loved.
30 days later he was still with us and I asked him if he wanted to live or leave and he said, "I WANT TO LIVE!" Okay then I said, "here is what I am offering you….Come live with us in our home and I’ll assume full care of your health and treatment. All I wanted from him was to give it 100% no matter what. He said, YES!"
I’ll never forget the day my sister-in-law delivered him to my office. He shuffled. His breath was labored and his eyes had lost the twinkle. Most of the time he just was dead awake.
The next 60 days I loved him well. We loved him well. I put together a small team of family members who were willing to believe health and healing were possible. I turned over every stone I found and we lived and breathed the 5 levels of health and healing model. From bone broth to raw and Family Constellation therapy to healing touch. We diced, drank and left no stone unturned as we sought the right combination of remedies, therapies, treatments and protocols that would bring him into a world of the healed and healthy. And we won.
Day by day his energy returned. He went from not being able to walk to baby steps and from baby steps to stair steps and from stair steps to steps across the room and then one day around the block.
He was engaged again. He began to dream and envision and hope and he smiled for the world to see and I celebrated each and every success and clawed my way out of despair when we hit a road block or a setback and then 60 days later he went home. This was longest he had gone without having to go to the emergency room for blood transfusions or emergency paracentesis. We celebrated life and we sent him home to continue the journey surrounded by the things he loved most.
While I no longer could monitor his daily activities, I not only had to pick up the pieces in my own life, I slowly began to see him return to his old habits…Let’s face it kicking cancer, disease, pathology or any life threatening diagnosis in the ass is an uphill climb. It takes a village. It requires tenacity, vision, hard work and a plan. He just wasn’t able to keep it going. It was easier to order a pizza than prepare life giving meals and it required commitment and energy to take daily enemas, healing treatments, meditate, exercise and breathing visualizations. It also took money. Every decision was between paying out -of -pocket for care or using the benny card for meds. A choice of a $35 co-pay for the liver doctor or $200/hour for the alternative practitioner.
Eventually mainstream won out. Before I knew it he had a team of "Liver Experts" representing the finest, smartest, most technologically advanced in the United States and he surrendered to their direction. He chose to be their patient and abandoned all and everything we did up until that time.
His life became a daily struggle for a next breathe, a next draining, a next dialysis as his kidneys failed, a next intubation as his lungs filled and I wept. In the beginning I was just angry. I just couldn’t stand to see him struggle. I was filled with pain and rage and helplessness and powerlessness. My heart hurt from the minute I opened my eyes until the minute I closed them and everything in between.
I heard his Team of professionals declare "He was doing Well"…."he was making progress" .."he was stable"…he was going to be fine and yet my naturopathic trained senses told me a very different story. I observed all the signs I had been taught….the quality and tone of the skin, the nails, the tongue, the eyes and the breath and I saw fatality. Yet, I also keenly understood the Biology of Belief and how that impacted the dis-ease process. One day I brought myself to my favorite sanctuary and I asked for guidance. I asked for help in letting go and Letting God. That day I decided I would no longer see death or dying. I would no longer feel the deep despair of powerlessness. I would no longer give him subtle clues of my deep disappointment in the turn of events. That day I decided to just be LOVE. I decided to appreciate the team of doctors and nurses and care givers who believed in a different way. I decided to love on him with foot rubs and neck rubs and storytelling and essential oils and the healing truth of unconditional love. I just hugged him with my every breath and I stood present to each and every procedure, needle, oxygen, dialysis, blood draw, they would offer him. I did it with total surrender to the path he told me he wanted to walk and I did it with a loving heart.
On February 2, 2015 we say "we walked him home." He called me that morning from his hospital bed where he had been for 3 long months and he was having trouble breathing. He asked if I would come. I quickly dressed on a snow covered frozen morning and arrived at his room to find him surrounded by a team of well meaning doctors. We were ushered aside and told….we were nearing the end and…they could make him comfortable. I did not want to be afraid and I did not want him to see my fear of loosing him. I sang hymns and Christmas songs and Willie Nelson and James Taylor that I knew were his favorites. I brushed his hair, held his hand and read from his Bible the 23rd Psalm…."The Lord is My Shepherd…." I annointed him with the essential oils he had come to love and I watched him breathe his last breath and then we sat for hours….unable to leave…unable to say farewell….unable to let his hand go for the very last time and I wept.
To Chemo or not to chemo….to cut or not to cut….to go alternative or traditional I understood in the days that followed was not the only question to be asked or answered. The question that also needs to be asked is How Can I serve best? How can I be present to my loved one in this moment? What can I offer that will help them most.
It was and is a difficult journey. I don’t regret one thing I did. I don’t regret trying to help him heal naturally and I don’t regret aligning myself with his wishes to take a conventional approach. I don’t regret loving him.
If you find yourself in a similar situation I hope in some small way this personal experience can offer you at least a glimpse into our struggle….our path…..our loss and our love.

A patient wrote, (printed with permission)
"My experience with traditional medicine (except in emergencies in which cases I have always felt grateful for their expertise) has been that doctors have been close minded as they have been unable to go outside of their “box” and it is frustrating that no matter how much experience they have or even how newly out of med school they are, they and their med schools have neglected whole areas of investigation. The doctors I have dealt with will not consider anything alternative outside of their medical and pharmaceutical world. It seems to all be about only getting rid of symptoms, AND probably I am where I am now is because I have not regularly gone for checkups. With the clinic doctors at my hospital in this particular case, they are nice but there is a lot negativity and not a lot of support and/or hope unless I were to do exactly what they say. They become impatient with my questions and either look at me like I’m crazy or shake there heads “no” (whether they have heard of something or not) when I bring up something that does not hold medical truth in their world. With a diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer metastasized to the liver I will soon be dead (between now and a year as most people only live a year and if I am one of those few EXTREMELY lucky people there is a VERY slim chance of making it to 5, IF I stop all of this foolishness and do what they say (chemo immediately). When I suggested that I might not want to do chemo, I was met with head shaking and/or silence as if I am committing suicide an sorrowful looks. I have just in the last few days decided that I definitely do NOT want Chemo. I have not told them this. They are thinking that I will be showing up for my first chemo appt next week. Medical professionals and friends have said, “Why not just do both?” But I don’t want to weaken my body and inhibit it from doing its job. To me it becomes a break-even affair instead of accomplishing real healing… AND I really, really believe to my core that healing is possible for me… not just a painful extension of life – waiting to die. I want to work with people who believe this and who will guide and support me…and not think of me as crazy. We are all going to die and NONE of us knows when… I could get hit by a car tomorrow and die which would have nothing to do with cancer. I refuse to live my life by statistics, probabilities and what reports say which is why I have not looked at my medical reports and did not want the doctor to tell me how long I had to live. I hate that he and all are treating me as if I am terminal. We have all been terminal since the day we were born. Reports and statistics don’t take individuals, God, Spirit, Soul and what we are outside of the physical into consideration…
We are all here for a reason to make a difference and to learn… When we have fulfilled our mission this time around then we move on…"
As a natural health care practitioner the journey I took with my brother allows me to be a better doctor. I am willing to stand in the fire with my patients but I am no longer held hostage by their life or their death. There is freedom to be found in both.

Richard Horowitz, M.D. did chronic Lyme sufferers a huge favor when he not only appeared on the Katie Show to announce to the world his understanding of Chronic Lyme Disease which he calls (MCIDS – Multiple Chronic Infection Disease Syndrome), he also wrote a book , “Why Can’t I Get Better?”
According to Dr. Horowitz …"This is a very comprehensive overview of Lyme and Tick Borne disorders with a map which can be applied to all chronic diseases. Nothing has ever been done in this scope and breadth. It should really help patients and doctors have a deeper understanding of the disease and how to get patients better. " He writes M.D. stands for "Medical Detective," and it has been this unrelentlng desire to uncover the hidden cause of disease which has helped him succeed.
Now Dr. Horowitz has the listening ear and attention of chronic sufferers and health care practitioners around the world.
I have been a Lyme sufferer. I have written about my experiences before but I also see patients everyday who have fallen between the cracks, been misdiagnosed, undiagnosed or whose prior treatments have provided little relief or even worse have left them penniless and without answers.
Did you notice the name of this post? “Why CAN I Get Better?” Sometimes a small shift in perception can open an entire new landscape of possibility and potential than we had accessed even a a second ago. Let me use one of Dr. Klinghardt’s favorite allegories to explain.
A drunk loses the keys to his house and is looking for them under a lamppost. A policeman comes over and asks what he’s doing.
“I’m looking for my keys” he says. “I lost them over there”.
The policeman looks puzzled. “Then why are you looking for them all the way over here?”
“Because the light is so much better”.
We all look for things where the light is better, rather than where we’re more likely to find them. In words of Anais Nin, “we don’t see things as they are. We see things as we are”.
A friend wrote, "If this is true – and, who am I kidding? of course it is – I worry that we all stagger around, destined to be misunderstood. Or, worse. We’re all methodically, apocalyptically misunderstood, and it’s too dark to notice."
Biochemistry but not Quantum Physics.
Anatomy but not Subtle Anatomy
Surgery but not Psychic Surgery
Pharmaceuticals but not Nutraceuticals.
Isolated organs but not organ meridian Systems
Genes but not Epigenetics
Orthopedics but not how to interpret the tongue, nails, or pulse
Muscles but not Miasms
Food but not whole food
Cavities but not Cavitations
Do you get the picture?
Dr. Horowitz expanded this model by devoting an entire chapter to Meditation and Mind Training as well as providing a 16 point check list that includes: Immune dysfunction, Inflammation, Environmental toxins, Functional medicine abnormalities with nutritional deficiencies, Mitochondrial dysfunction, Endocrine abnormalities, Neurodegenerative disorders, Neuropsychiatric disorders, Sleep disorders, Autonomic Nervous System Dysfunction and Allergies.
Kudos to Dr. Horowitz. Yet, even Dr. Horowitz is only looking for the keys where the light has been turned on.
Quantum Physics
Let me introduce you to a perspective of health and healing where the light is still quite dim yet amazingly bright for those who are willing to see it? Are you the type that "believes" only after you have seen it or are you the type that knows sometimes you have to “Believe” before you see it.
.
"Dr. Amit Goswami as usual has the most brilliant insights into how consciousness conceives, governs, constructs, and becomes biology." – Deepak Chopra
Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D. Ph.d has a unique perspective on health and how we heal because he is trained and practices in both
Which model is correct?
They both are.
It’s time to shine the light on the wholeness of humanity not only as it relates to humankind but to Everykind. The animals, the plants, elements, solar system and multi-verse. After all don’t we say as above so below? We live in a multi-verse not a Universe–our body comprises multiple systems not just one. We have a spleen and a liver but we also have consciousness and a Bio-field.
Take a look at this chart which shows an example of how a few systems are inter-related. . As a Chiropractor, if I find a patient who continually presents with a subluxation at T9/T10, I will also check Liver/Gall Bladder function as well as any dental contribution at Tooth #6. Using ARTesting we can determine if the tooth is contributing to the subluxation /Gall Bladder dysfunction or the other way around.
Bi-directional forces of nature and human beings
Living, structured water and molecular hydration
Patterns, shapes, colors & sacred geometry
Frequencies, light, sound & music and chanting
The biofield and the information stored therein
Resonance, coherence and wave function
Planets, solar flares, Electro-magnetic fields, Geopathics, and their impact on humans and our impact on them
Interrelationship of teeth, organs, muscles, emotion, nutrition, vertebra and more
The meridian system and chakra system
Cellular function based on voltage, sound, light and raw materials
Patients in our office are assessed using both models. We apply the science of logic, reasoning, lab reports, diagnostics and technology but we also value intuition, spiritual concepts, quantum physics and the frequency of love which is nature’s inherent healer.
How does a health practitioner begin to unwind the complexities and layers for the patient entrusted in their care?
At raSa health we are skilled in using Autonomic Response Testing which applies the principles of Quantum Physics and has proven to be the most accurate form of muscle testing used to determine what an individual needs at any point in time in order to restore balance to the system.
.
In the hands of a skilled practitioner, ARTesting can determine where, how and why the Autonomic Nervous System is BLOCKED and what it will take to return it to proper flow. We also use it to determine the proper nutrients the body needs and prioritize the underlying issues that are stressing the body.
Health and healing is never a “one size fits all” approach. For one patient, the choice of chemotherapy and surgery may be the best choice. For another that may not be an option.
If you are seeking a model that embraces the whole system and not only the parts, you may find the answers you seek at raSa health.
A branch of medicine that recognizes this is known as Anthroposophical medicine. Anthroposophic Medicine (Anthropos=human being: Sophia=Wisdom. Health is a result of a harmonious relationship between all systems. This is partnered health care. It is not the result of someone with a white coat writing a prescription. It is the result of partnering with a practitioner that beholds the truth of your being even when you do not know it for yourself. This model requires communication, commitment, inner work, discipline and a willingness to experience joy, divinity and health.
Why CAN I Get Better? Because we come with a divine blueprint that recognizes we are more than our biochemistry. Until we shine the light on the intrinisic principles of our very nature we will continue to chase the bugs, destroy our environment and pollute our own bodies.
Why CAN I Get Better? because you are better. Embrace the fullness of your divine blueprint and you will soar to a new level of health you may have never been told is possible.
I can tell you it is. I see it everyday in different ways. If it happens for others, it can happen for you.

Many are surprised to learn that a chiropractic adjustment addresses something called "subluxation." That is a big word that means "loss of light." Many more are surprised to learn in addition to biochemistry the body also has an electromagnetic component. These are not separate systems but different sides of the same coin.
Therapies like acupuncture and electro-therapies treat and evaluate according to the electro magnetic principles of the body.. My experience is optimal health and healing requires BOTH!
In 25 years of practicing, nothing leaves me feeling more helpless than having a patient in pain that I couldn’t help. I am talking about the kind of pain that interferes with your ability to brush your teeth, drive a car, walk your dog or go to work. These are patients of every age. Many of them have been to numerous doctors–have tried the muscle relaxers, physical therapy, pain pills, Advil and even mood elevators with little or no success! They are people like you and me who only want to feel better–get back to work — play with their kids or hit a golf ball again.
Through the years I’ve had moderate to good success with helping people in pain. Moderate success is not good enough. There were far more that suffered and I lost many nights sleep thinking, researching and studying new possibilities.
I have experienced pain. I can remember how debilitating and diminished I felt. It almost felt shameful to have someone help me to the bathroom, help me dress or fix me my meals. Many live in chronic pain everyday of their lives. Others have had acute accidents or trauma that left them feeling like there were not many choices other than potentially addictive medications which carry many toxic side effects.
When I first saw the Dr. Oz show on pulsed electromagnetic field therapy I was relieved to learn of a non-invasive, non-toxic and often fast acting therapy that was now available in the United States. I began to look at and experience several devices to learn their differences and their applications. I met many who experienced quick and lasting relief with many of them but I still had not found the device that was right for my patients at raSa health.
You see, many of my patients are chronic Lyme disease patients ridden with not only pain but the complexities of mold, heavy metal and environmental sensitivities. Their pain is often a chronic, fibromyalgia-type of pain. Others are athletic types who put the pedal to the metal every time they compete, there are those who just "got out of bed the wrong way" or helped their friend move over the weekend and now can’t move them self and ,of course, my seniors with arthritis and aging knees with chronic pain. I needed a device that would help all of them and that wasn’t easy to find.
In May, I attended Dr. Klinghardt’s "Healing Your Brain Conference," in New York City and many of my colleagues were buzzing about the great relief they experienced from one treatment on a high voltage PEMF device also known as cellular exercise. I was not in any pain but I was exhausted from a grueling 3 day intensive and I thought I would give it a try. Wow! 20 minutes on this super battery charger and I felt like I could run a marathon.
In fact I did one better and embraced a bucket list item to complete my first Triathlon. PEMF – Cellular exercise treatments were part of my training and I am happy to say I not only finished but I actually placed in a time I did not imagine possible.
For the next week I couldn’t get this experience out of my mind so I decided to put this device to the test. I invited my friends, family and patients with the most debilitating pain to come in for demo treatments. Much to my amazement every one of them experienced relief. Some — 50% but many more 100%. Now, I was even more excited.
I then decided to go to a practitioner’s office who was using the same device, running it 6 days a week and has a 2 month waiting list. I spent two days watching patients with frozen shoulder, sciatica, neck pain, bone on bone knee pain, fibromyalgia, autism and farmer’s with a bad wrist, hand and back. These patients not only got the relief they hoped for but they smiled after every treatment and gladly paid the practitioner as they walked out the door ready to engage in their daily busy lives. They were just glad to be helped and grateful to return to their busy lives.
In "Emerging Electromagnetic Medicine" by M.E. O’Connor, we learn of the latest research findings in the field of electromagnetic radiation. The book discusses the use of electromagnetic fields in diagnostic and therapeutic medicine. It describes the theoretical concerns and actual mechanisms involved.
Consider this:
There are three main aspects of cell-membrane power production:
1. The lipid substrate–must insulate the inside and outside and not leak power (we need healthy fats)
2. The pH diferential–must be balanced to enable electricity, just like a car battery (PEMF Cellular exercise)
3. Raw Materials– must be present to create chemical and electrical structures needed for the cell to work. (proper nutrition)
Individuals exposed to PEMF, or electromagnetic therapies, exhibit often striking recoveries, when energetics restore cellular immunity. PEMF exposure increases tissue oxygen availability through a variety of means, likely resulting i improved tissue oxygentation which enabled healing which would not have been otherwise possible.
PEMF on Pathogens
One study suggests pulsed fields assert differential effects on pathogens cells versus a host cells. While mammalian host cells tend to absorb pulse energy and use it, parasitic organisms, that lack energetic resonance with the host, experience stress.
PEMF & EMF (Electro-magnetic fields)
Every week we receive calls from patients who tell me they can’t leave their homes and even some are living by candlelight as to reduce all exposure to electromagnetic radiation . Many cannot use a computer or a cell phone because the symptoms become unbearable. There is a new patient emerging. This is how Dr. Klinghardt described the 2013 patient at the Healing of the Brain Conference in NYC:
Daytime episodes of inappropriate physical and mental fatigue and lack of zest. Difficulty sleeping, waking unrefreshed. Difficulty with short- term memory, concentration, word finding, mood swings, decreased assimilation of new information. Strange neurological symptoms: vibration, sounds, tingling, numbness, cranial nerve dysfunction (vagus, vertigo, tinnitus, blurred vision) General feeling of weakness, with shortness of breath after brief exertion, increased heart rate Body aches joint pains, exercise intolerance Sinus problems, sore throats, light sensitivity, “floaters”, cough Difficulty regulating body temperature, sometimes with night sweats and general coldness Increased thirst, but “water runs straight through”, increased urination, light urine color
Some have coined this electroplague. http://electroplague.com/
How does PEMF affect people with EMF sensitivity?
Mark Squibb describes it this way: Individuals with electrically weak cells tend to be more sensitive to pulsed fields because their cells respond more readily to both beneficial and harmful radiation. They tend to gain energy rapidly from pulsed fields which supports cellular metabolism. Likewise they tend to resonate with harmful radiations Use of pulsed magnetic fields tends to decrease sensitivity to detrimental electromagnetic radiation by strengthening the native bio-field.
There is a strong tendency for people with poor cell membrane integrity to be significantly more sensitive to electromagnetic radiation than individuals with high cell membrane integrity and optimal membrane power. Weaker cells naturally absorb energy from wherever they can, including from stray electromagnetic sources. Electrically weak individuals are more sensitive than electrically strong individuals.
The difference between beneficial and detrimental exposure boils down to the tendency for an exposure to impose an unnatural resonance pattern on the cell or on the body. The unnatural resonance disrupts the natural biological processes which require the natural harmonics to operate optimally. In other words, electromagnetics which draw tissues away from their natural harmonics induce disturbances which may to disrupt cellular or systemic function.
This is why cell phones (MHz), and power lines (60 Hz) tend to produce discomfort in certain individuals. These individuals generally lack the ability to resist stray harmonics, and the stray harmonics draw them into an unnatural resonance.
I’ve always believed that nature holds the key to many of our questions. Flowers need the energy from the sun and water, plants need the same and guess what– Humans need energy too!
If you want to prove that electromagnetic emissions have an effect on living systems, try putting a mouse in a microwave.

This is a question I am often asked. Having a diagnosis of Lyme myself I have given this a lot of thought. Cancer is said to be “cured” if a patient remains asymptomatic for a period of 5 years. Does asymptomatic equal cured? What is cured?
With my own diagnosis my goal is to focus on feeling well and living well. I don’t really think about finding a cure for Lyme as much as I think about finding my wellness point. Two thoughts cannot occupy the same space at the same time. If you have the thought “ I have Lyme,” you cannot at the same time be thinking, “I am well.”
At raSa health I have patients who come in with diagnoses of everything from Thyroid disease to Cancer and Lyme disease to headaches. I do not treat the diagnosis. I do treat the person who has the diagnosis. In fact, I treat the wholeness of that person. In the 5 levels of health and healing model adapted from Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., I recognize my patients are much more than their physical bodies. They also have an energy body, a mental body, an informational body and consciousness.
When I care for a patient with a diagnosis of Lyme disease, I treat beyond the symptoms. I treat the system. Lyme disease is no longer one infection. Richard Horowitz, M.D. renamed Lyme disease “MCIDS. Multiple Chronic Infection Disease Syndrome. There are multiple layers to Lyme disease and there is no one herb, antibiotic, tincture or remedy that can address each and every one of them.
A common thread I see in those of us with a Lyme diagnosis is we have multiple issues on multiple levels to varying degrees. Each patient must be addressed according to their uniqueness. The healing comes when we can identify the level the original wound appeared and begin the unwinding through each of the levels affected. This is different for each of us. Lyme is not “cured” by an antibiotic. The symptoms may be reduced but the Lyme Disease is NOT cured. Just like cutting off a cancerous breast doesn’t cure the cancer or if you abandon a child doesn’t mean you are not a parent.
The cure is a process. A journey of life itself. The cure is not found on the highways or the freeways of life…but more likely to be found in the ditch or the pothole. Those patients who are willing to look at the potholes and get down under their own hood and assess the damage, the corrosion, the rust, and dents are the ones who often “find the cure.”
Killing bugs doesn’t create a cure anymore than war brings about peace or darkness brings about light. There are several steps in our approach to caring for a patient with a diagnosis of Lyme disease.
Accept that Lyme or whatever diagnosis has come into your life is there for a reason. It is a messenger. We never benefit from killing the messenger.
Recognize that Lyme may not be only affecting your biochemistry and physiology but also your energy body, your mental body, your informational body and your consciousness.
Be willing to look under the hood. Assess the damage. Ask the tough questions. Where in my life is there a wounding that is asking to be healed. Where in my life does resentment need to be replaced with forgiveness or worry and control asking to be replaced with faith and surrender.
Get a plan. Just like you would get an estimate to have your auto repaired we need an estimate and a plan to return to our wholeness.
Ask yourself does my plan include:
Immune modulators
Anti-microbials
Repairing the biochemistry
Rebuilding the physiology
Detoxing and unloading the system
Removing and mitigating the offending electro-magnetic, dirty electricity and geopathic stressors
Healing the trauma

1. Restoration of health; recovery from disease.

3. An agent, such as a drug, that restores health; a remedy.
4. Something that corrects or relieves a harmful or disturbing situation: The cats proved to be a good cure for our mouse problem.
5. Ecclesiastical Spiritual charge or care, as of a priest for a congregation.
In my 10 years of working with patients who have a diagnosis of Lyme disease, the difference between those who were “cured” and those that weren’t is listed here. Those who

I Can’t Sleep in My House!
In the Fall I love to take my heavy blankets to the laundry mat and get everything fresh for the season. I met Bob there. He was doing his weekly laundry at the same time and he told me that he had been sleeping in his van for the last two weeks because his home was flooded after the hurricane, and the mold was making him sick.
As it turns out not everybody has friends and family they can turn to when they are down on there luck. I started thinking about several patients of mine who told me they could not live in their home because their house too was making them sick.
These homes aren’t shacks with leaky roofs. They’re homes like yours and mine. If you think mold only grows in damaged uncared for homes you couldn’t be more mistaken. It happens in every kind of home…..big, small, new, old, expensive and not.
With symptoms like sneezing, sinus congestion, headaches, coughing, allergies and breathing difficulties I couldn’t help but wonder why so many millions of people need Claritin just to get through the day. Did many of these people have an undetected mold issue?
Some people know they are allergic to mold, yet they may not realize that mold is growing in their homes and workspace. Mold is not visible to us until it creates a super-colony of fruiting structures. Mold spores are microscopic. We cannot see mold spores in the air, even when there are tens of thousands of spores in each cubic meter of the air surrounding us.
Did you know mold thrives everywhere from 30,000 feet in the air to the deepest mine in the earth? Author and mold expert, Edward Close, Phd. writes that mold can survive without air, in freezing or boiling hot environments and grows from the tropics to the Arctic. It is one of the most successful life forms on earth right up there with insects and bacteria. Because mold is so ubiquitous, people think it is harmless. He said, “exposure to toxic mold is the most commonly overlooed underlying cause and/or aggravation of many health problems.” Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker, author of Mold Illness and Mold Warrior calls mold related illness Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome from Water-Damaged Buildings (CIRS-WDB).
I’ve seen first hand how mold affects human health. The fatigue, vertigo, sore throat, sneezing fits. Memory loss and flu-like symptoms can be debilitating. Just what is it about mold that affects us? Two aspects stand out: spores and mycotoxins. Both can be airborne and both can cause allergic reactions on the surface of the skin and inside our bodies. They can grow inside nasal passages, sinus cavities, bronchial passage and lungs.
There is so much to know about mold and biotoxin illness that I have decided to offer a one-hour teleseminar to talk about just that. In the meantime, I offer you some suggestions here. There are two things to consider. The mold in your home and the mold in your body.
What you can do for the…
Mold in your home?
FIRST: Professional Mold Sampling
Environmental Relative Moldiness Index (ERMI. http://www.ermimoldtest.com/ermi_dna_mold_testing.asp offers several advantages over traditional mold screening methods. Carpet dust acts as a reservoir for mold spores and is more representative of mold levels over time versus traditional short term air samples (Park et al., 2006). Further, the use of a DNA-based method for this test allows for increased precision of mold identification .
SECOND: Diffuse the Thieves Oil Blend
After Sampling is completed, the next step is to diffuse the Thieves oil blend continuously (non-stop) for a minimum of 24 hours in the room or rooms where you have mold. Determining how long to diffuse is related to how serious the mold infestation is.
The recommended cold-air diffuser is very easy to set up and clean. Anyone can do it. No special skills or training are required.
THIRD: Clean with the Thieves Household Cleaner
After sampling and diffusing have been completed, then clean areas with visible mold using the Thieves Household Cleaner (it contains the Thieves oil blend). Use appropriate protective equipment. The absolute minimum required to address mold is the following: I’ve made a short video of how we worked with my neighbor.
1 Bottle of the Thieves Oil Blend -15 ml
1 Thieves Household Cleaner
1 Cold Air Diffuser
After diffusing is completed, clean visible mold and stains with the recommended Household Cleaner, undiluted. Use protective equipment and take precautions to avoid contact with and breathing mold spores while cleaning. Even dead mold spores can cause allergic reactions, so protective equipment is highly recommended.
Mold in your body?
FIRST: Begin to treat yourself and your family members.
A favorite of mine is the propolis vaporizer. Propolis is a resinous mixture that honey bees collect from tree buds, sap flows, or other botanical sources.
It is widely know for its anti-microbial, immune modulating benefits. Propolis attaches to mold spores and is amazingly effective in neutralizing mold spores and harmful bacterial in the home. We have them available in our wellness store.
SECOND: Foods to Eat
Eat only freshly prepared low-glycemic fruits (peeled) and vegetables.
Eat protein: including meats and fresh fish.
Drink bottled water. Tap water contains mold. Try to drink distilled or reverse osmosis water as it retains the good bacteria in the digestive tract.
Try to avoid chemicals and additives such as hormones and antibiotics.
Avoid all grains, and all processed/packaged foods.
Freshly cooked brown rice is safe. Soak with a little Vitamin C before cooking.
THIRD: Attend my Free Teleseminar
“Could MOLD be your Problem” Tuesday, October 25th. We’ll look at how mold affects us and learn some simple and effective treatments to consider. Meet me there & bring your family and friends.

EEG, EKG and EMG are some of the common tests you may be familiar that measure the electromagnetic energies in the body. One of my favorite tools I use is called , Heart Rate Variability (HRV). HRV is a simple 6 minute test that gives us a window into the patient’s Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). The ANS is responsible for every function in your body from blood pressure regulation to digestion and heart beat to immune response. When I measure a person’s HRV it gives me a good indication of where that patient is on the health continuum. Here is a 6 minute video I found which gives a simple but thorough explanation. Heart Rate Variability Health is a relative term. Some patient’s tell me they are “healthy,” yet, they are on meds for heart burn, blood pressure and insomnia. A truly healthy person does not need to take medications to regulate these functions. HRV shows a graph of what a physically fit and optimal ANS looks like. In my 8 years of doing HRV, I have only seen two patients who registered at this level.
An alternative view is that the koshas emerge from the highest vibratory or spiritual state, or the blissful level, and then shift toward the most material level. While the energies shift from subtle to material, the material then climbs again to subtle. Thus, the koshas can be viewed as constantly operating on both a microcosmic and macrocosmic level. In our model, the 5 levels also shift one to the other, interdependent, each influencing the other. You might say we began as “consciousness” or spirit and was then birthed into the physical only to return to consciousness. Others believe we began as physical and are meant to return to the spiritual. (spirit.) It’s safe to say….no one knows for sure. There are many mysteries yet to be fully understood on each of these levels. For me, that is part of the wonder.
